God's heart for children and young people is undeniable. Jesus' disciples were young men with ordinary backgrounds, ordinary education, living ordinary lives--yet Jesus saw something extraordinary in their potential and He poured Himself into them.

God's heart for using students and changing their lives has not changed. Because students are important to God, they're important to us. We invite over 130 spirit-filled college to help invest in the lives of the campers during the week. These staffers go through an extensive interview and training process so they can be prepared to lead students in a Biblically solid manner.

These college staffers are completely volunteer and they are committed to investing in students. Each staffer is assigned a small "family" group of 5-8 students for the week. Male staffers are assigned male students; female staffers are assigned female students. This family group meets a couple of times during each camp day for relationship building and discussion.

Students who have attended Super Summer in the past can attest that their Super Summer staffer and family group is one of the most important aspects of camp.

During Super Summer, schools or classes are designated by the colors blue, green, orange, red, yellow, and camo. Each school consists of college students serving as small group staffers and an adult teaching team. All schools receive the same curriculum instruction, except for camo school.

Camo school is reserved for students who will graduate in May 2010. Camo's curriculum is geared toward helping prepare recent college graduates with the tools they'll need to continue building a firm foundation as they begin their college or career paths..

The heart of the leadership team, volunteer college staff, and engaged adults is for students to grow in their relationship with God. Super Summer desires to equip our students with the ability to stand strong in the truths of scripture, and in doing so, to become a strong man or woman of faith.

We understand that our students live in a culture where "relative truths" are incredibly popular, and we believe it is vital to teach the truths of scripture. By living out the truths God commands to us, He allows us to live full, healthy, joy-filled lives. When our lives are changed by the Holy Spirit, it is incredibly noticeable to all who are around us--and that's when God has the incredible opportunity to step into the lives of those who are closest to us and do some incredible things.

Every young person deserves a trained youth leader! Think of Super Summer as the place to train your lay leaders in the basics of youth ministry. The youth ministry school will help your youth staff develop a Jesus Focused strategy for reaching teenagers with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
